Meet our staff of dedicated instructors.

Mrs. Angela Hughes began her martial arts career in 1993 in Winder, Georgia under the instruction of Mrs. Janet Borders and Mr. Bruce Borders. Mrs. Hughes earned her 1st degree black belt in 1999 under the instruction of Master. Skiles, and she applied to become an Instructor-Trainee under the SSI (Songahm Systems International) program. After less than two years, Mrs. Hughes became one of the first instructors in the region to become an American Taekwondo Association Certified Instructor through the complete SSI program in May of 2001.

In 2001, Mrs. Hughes earned the title of State Champion in the Weapons competitions for Georgia. During the same competition season, she was ranked second in the national Weapons Competition in Little Rock with the Single Bahng Mahng Ee. In 2002, Mrs. Hughes earned the title of State Champion in both the Forms and Weapons competitions for Georgia.
